Default Off Roadin in Calico Ghost Town

Ok so Myself, My Brother, My buddie Jacob, my buddie mike and Jimbo went out to do some wheeling in Calico. For thoses who dont know, this is an OLD mining town, so all through the mountains are OLD open mines and some tunnels etc etc etc. 90% of the mine shafts that go stright down are barb-wired off so no one falls into them. But we came across a few that still were not closed and were wide open, STRIGHT DOWN! Many more go right into the side of the hills. Lots of rock in this area ! AND I MEAN LOTS! nice different colors or rock too!

We had a VERY VERY fun time! We are going to go back and do more exploring again soon.

So we had this little thing going on yesterday were we were giving out awards.... so here is how they went...

Most Carnage: Jimbo
Defieing the laws of Physics: Jimbo
Trail Rated: Jimbo's 2wd!

Now for the carnage on Jimbos truck.... First, Jimbo was behinde me, well i broke lose a tad and when my tire set back down LAUNCHED a rock right into Jimbos Off Road light. Next during a tight turn Jimbo about bent his driver side step rail off. Then (and you will see in the pictures) we came to a part were we had to go over a good size bolder. Jimbo started his was over it and high sided on his passanger step rail. So we hooked him up to me and i started to pull him over it, Well.... during the pull i about pulled his bottom bar of his grille guard off, and as he was about over the rock he came down and smashed his tail pipe into the rear quarter pannel.

So no for Defieing the Laws of Physics... Jimbo (we still dont know how he did it!) But got STUCK going DOWN hill! LOL I have a video of this that i will post!

Here is the link to all the pictures from my camera, 160 came off of my camera. Jimbo has a ton more still to post up. the pictures are in reverse order... Photobucket is weird like that.

All in all it was a FUN FUN day! We all had a blast and are going to go back to do more exploring. Jimbo took all his carnage with a smile on his face! But its ALL good! The more and more i gain experance driving the Dak off road, im liking it more! Because it for the most part is very stout on the trail. For what mimimual clerance i do have and the craptastic shocks i have. Im still liking it!

Adidas nice truck man, I was curious where/how you got your lift it looks like the guys at Rough Country left us 4x4 guys hanging at the moment. P.s I noticed in some of your pics your front bumper looks like its popped off [sm=insomnia.gif]

It is just a PA 3in body lift and a TM leveling kit. As far as the bumper... it sags... And ive hit it a few times so that probly doesnt help.....
