As long as we are on the topic of warranties, we can extend our warranties at the end of the factory period right? Any idea how much that generally costs?
A lot. Depending on the length, you could pay up to $1400 or more. I paid half that ($800) to extend mine for an extra four years, straight from the factory. The moment you drive it off the lot, those costs go waaaaaaaaaaay up.

Bought mine July 21 last year...it's got 26,500 or so on it....would've had a lot more if I hadn't been laid off all summer.

Well about the gas mileage I am assuming that they do this in most places but the gas companys are in the process of changing over to there what they call here in Pa their winter blend. This will give you worse gas mileage. I have not checked my mileage lately but its something to look at if they do change the gas blend in your area.

Yeah, winter gas royally sucks. Is it actually necessary or is this just a ploy to charge us the same prices for even less return?

On average, I've found the change to the winter blend drops my mpgs between 1-2 mpg. It affects city driving more than highway, it seems. It really stinks...

well you are correct about the winter blend, it is terrible.you mileage will drop drastically also if you are still running the factory plugs i would change them out. could have a lot of diposite on them because you dont run truck often. and for 750.00 more i was able to purchase the dodge lifetime warrenty that they are offering on the new 08 models. but there are some stipulations. get in touch with the dealer and ask about the upgrade.. they need to do a full inspection of the truck then you cant mess with it unless dodge does the work. if not then you are screwed.
