Default 07' 3.7L 6-Speed with 3.92 Diff

Would a 3.7L 6-speed manual with a 3.55 or 3.92 rear diff too much the truck?

Does that sound like a good idea? I've looked online but I havn't read about anyone doing that with manual trans. Everyone I've read is with auto tranny. Are the gear ratios not ideal?

Reread ur first post, and ask yourself if your question makes sense...

It doesn't to me.

I'm thinking you want to know if the 3.92s are going to be too much for the truck, but I'm not sure if I am correct, or not.

Meaning would that be too high of a ratio with a 6-speed manual?

ummm.... I think you will find yourself wishing you wouldve got an auto.. I know i would. I get tired of shifting my 88.. you could probably cheat and go from like 1st-3-4 depending on what speed you're going.

Some of us prefer to select our own gears every moment of every mile (about 700 per week). IMO if you can't get a V8, definately go with the highest rearend ratio available. The 3.92 is only available with 4WD I believe?

They probably won't sell you a 3.92 with a manual transmission. At least they wouldn't when I bought at the end of the '06 model year. If you want 3.92s and a manual tranny, you'll have to do it yourself unless those rules have changed.

Did they ever give you a reason for that? Sounds like a bs policy to me [&:]
