180 degree Tstat?
I'll be installing the thermostat this Thursday and was wondering if there is any problems or headaches replacing the factory one in the 4.7L? Or if there are any pointers to replace it easily.

well, its not a bad install. did you get the napa stat or the jet? if teh napa one, just make sure that you make the notch as close to stock as you can...
and a fresh 5 gallon bucket that is clean to catch the fluid would be good if you want to re-use the stuff coming out.

I got the Tstat from Jet. Napa, Autozone, AdvanceAuto, etc. didn't even know what I was talking about.
Did you replace your fluid or just reuse it?

I also reused my fluid. I got a new 5 gallon bucket to catch it and drove the truck up onto ramps...
be mindfull of the cheap plastic valve that you will see/use... I was able to bend it pretty easy. I didnt break mine, but I know of people saying that they did break theres...
