I had some nicks and deep scratches. wetsanding gets rid of the highs and lows in the paint where claybars just get rid of imperfections like overspray. I got a touchup pen from the dealer and filled the scraches and nicks, waited for them to dry, then used wet/dry 2000 grit and a sanding block to wetsand them smooth. then I used a 2500 rpm buffer and some turtlewax buffing compound and buffed till shiny, then used some turtle wax polish and applied it by hand with a microfiber rag and wiped it off with another microfiber. nice, smooth, and lint free. jsut be careful wetsanding as you can really easy go though the paint. all you want to do is smooth the clearcoat not go to the basecoat. (and yes, I know I am a mothers dealer but didnt have any on hand at the moment)
