Default programer

I was on a performance parts web site looking for performance mods. I clicked on programers and one came up. The Superchips Cortex. Has any one heard about this? It says that it works on 05-07 dakotas with the 3.7 or 4.7.

sct tuning has supported the 05-07 daks but it still is in the developing stages. depending on when the truck was built late 04 early 05 still working. later 05 and up has been done but not perfected.

yeah, they get your hopes up... its not for our trucks. So far Jet is the only option. There is a tuner out, but i cant remember who sells it and I am almost certain its 500-600 bucks... (which isnt bad, but I cant remember the brand.)
I posted a link on the modthread for a Jet module for a little over @200 bucks.

I called the guy at Performance Products to find out what the scoop was on this. His line was that it was a "misprint". As far as I know, a misprint is a typo. This was no typo. The offer was clearly for 2005 3.7& 4.7 Dakotas for $499. I suggested they pull this thing ASAP. because there is no programmer for ourtrucks, PERIOD! Another aftermarket outfit called The Parts Bin tried to pull something similar(the Hyperpaq).
I strongly advise anybody who finds programmers supposedly for our trucks at any aftermarket website to check at the manufacturer's website be it Superchips, Hypertech or whatever. Do not order!
