Default Jet chip problems?!?

I have a 07 Dakota QC automatic with the 3.7. Have intake and exhaust. I recieved the jet chip (stage 2) part number 90401S. I installed yesterday following the directions with unhooking the negetive terminal ect. When i turned the key all boxes lit up in the gear selector window. At this point i was kind of worried lol! I also noticed I had Drive but no 1 or 2. So i decided to take it for a quick spin to see if it was just the selector messed up. Truck ran and shifted good just cruising. If I put it to the boards it wouldnt shift and hit a rev limit at 4k rpms. I took the chip out and everything was back to normal. Im gonna try it again to see if it was maybe loose but i made sure it was tight.... If still problems Ill have to contact jet i guess... anybody else have anything like this happen? Anybody no the warranty on these chips through jet? Thanks in advance

Your quickest fix would be to buy a Dakota with a 6 speed. No moregear indicator problems.[8D]

my chip clipped into place no problem and away i went. make sure it is for the 3.7 not the 4.7. also there should be a sticker on the chip with the part number.

I had a few extra lights come on with my stage II also, I just unhooked the battery and let the system reset. No problems after that.
