ALL SEASON TIRES

I don't have prices, so you'll have to look that up. But here's what Consumer Reports has to say:

Here are the Light Truck All Season tires that Consumer Reports rated as "Very Good" or "Excellent" for Snow Traction:

Goodyear Fortera HL Edition
Kelly Safari Signature
Hankook DynaPro AT RF08
General AmeriTrac SUV (Sears)
Toyo Radial Open Country M410
Bridgestone Dueler H/T D684
Michelin XC LT4 (Sears)
Michelin Cross Terrain
Continental ContiTrac SUV
Kelly Safari SUV
BFGoodrich Radial Long Trail T/A

Here are the Light Truck All Season tires that Consumer Reports rated as "Very Good" or "Excellent" for Ice Breaking w/o ABS:

Kelly Safari Signature
Hankook DynaPro AT RF08
Uniroyal Laredo Cross Country
Michelin LTX M/S
Michelin Cross Terrain
Continental ContiTrac SUV

I concentrated on Winter Driving Condition related ratings, so these tires may be excellent for snow traction, but below average in other categories. Also, I doubt they test every version of every tire from every manufacturer.

Their number one all around best rated all season light truck tire is the Goodyear Fortera HL Edition

Again, these ratings are for ALL SEASON tires. They have separate ratings for ALL TERRAIN tires.

ALL TERRAIN TIRES

I don't have prices, so you'll have to look that up. But here's what Consumer Reports has to say:

Here are the Light Truck All Terrain tires that Consumer Reports rated as "Very Good" or "Excellent" for Snow Traction:

Nitto Terra Grappler AT
Toyo Open Country A/T
Kumho Road Venture AT
Hankook Dynapro AT RF08
Cooper Discoverer ATR
Goodyear Wrangler AT/S
Continental ContiTrac TR

Here are the Light Truck All Terrain tires that Consumer Reports rated as "Very Good" or "Excellent" for Ice Breaking w/o ABS:

Nitto Terra Grappler AT
Bridgestone Dueler APT III
Toyo Open Country A/T
Hankook Dynapro AT RF08
Cooper Discoverer ATR
Firestone Destination A/T
BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A
Goodyear Wrangler AT/S
Continental ContiTrac TR

I concentrated on Winter Driving Condition related ratings, so these tires may be excellent for snow traction, but below average in other categories. Also, I doubt they test every version of every tire from every manufacturer.

Their number one all around best rated all terrain light truck tire is the Nitto Terra Grappler AT. The only all terrain tire that scored excellent in both snow traction and ice breaking was the Goodyear Wrangler AT/S (though it fell short in several non-winter categories).

Again, these ratings are for ALL TERRAIN tires. They have separate ratings for ALL SEASON tires.

Ugh, just, don't listen to him, Eric.

I doubt you will, anyways, but I have Firestone Destination A/Ts on my truck, my mom's Durango, and my sister's Liberty...

They handle the snow VERY well... and run about 80 a piece, if you can get a good deal on them...

Had the Goodyear Wrangler AT/S on my old Chevy, excellent snow and ice performance on those. If you can get em cheap don't hesitate.

4x4QC: Either yours came stock with different tires than mine did or you must be insane. They don't work worth **** in the rain, even worse in snow...

Rich, do you really need to say.... "or you must be insane"

Hasn't that been proven, on MULTIPLE accounts, already.
