If you're talking about the factory flares, there's different part numbers for quad and club cabs. I have a quad cab and didn't have to trim it.

I know, I was explaining the reason for two diff PN's.
The club cab PN has no notch in the rear flare
The Quad cab Pn is prenotched.

WOW now I see, no doubt there is a difference between the to, because I have a quad cab 4 door.. Cya Slick
