Wait, so you have a 4.7L with a 3" pipe from the cats, to a flow 40, with two 3.5" outlets?

How's that treating you for your torque?

Betcha it's killing it...

Remember, bigger equals more hp, but also less tq...

You can have all the hp in the world, but if you have no torque, you may as well drive a Civic.
Well "back then" when that was the only mod to her, yeah it suffered a little. But now (fast forward 2yrs) after everything elseI have done to it, i pushesyou back when you WOT it either at a light or while at cruising speed.

Ok, what else have you done to it?

You do realize, that the total diameter from ur muffler back is probably the equivalent of, well, about a 5 - 5.5" exhaust piping...

Which is what diesel trucks call for.

I still say it's WAY overkill, I woulda gone 3" inlet and dual 2.5" outlets... but that's just me (as well as flowmaster and magnaflow)

Yes you are correct as the tips are slant cut. Yes it may be a little overkill and I may have lost a little tq comparitively. But i'm also not a kid who likes to try and drag race his truck everywhere... so for me, it works.

Other mods:
CAI
TB
TBS
Headers
Under pulley kit... and putting in Autolite 3923's this weekend per your guy's recommendation.

and the tips are only 8" not long massive 18- 22"

and Frenchy, were you referring to diameter or circumference??? There is a huge difference.
