It should be easierto do in the 05-07 models overall (and especially with an automatic) simply because of the rear drum brakes compared to discs on the previous model.
With that said, itIS possible to do a standing burnout with a 6 speed. Granted, I'm sure it's easier since my tires are almost bald, but I digress. [:'(]It just takes some tricky footworkwhile using yourheel onthe brake pedal while you give it throttle with the front of your right foot as yourelease the clutch with your left.
It's basically likedoing a linelock with a stick shift.

Have you tried this on a 6spd?
Is yours a 6spd, cuz I know I've tried it MANY different ways, and nothing works...
Maybe I need like a size 22 shoe to reach the clutch and brake at the same time...
Cuz it just doesn't work for me... I like the drop clutch at 4k and just smoke em that way.

When I lived in Indy, the state of Indiana didn't change their clocks (they do now). There were certain northern and southern fringe areas of the state that did though. Up north by Chicago and down south by Louisville thought it better for business interests if they were on the same time as those metro areas, even though they were across state lines.
I had heard a lot when I was there that Arizona was the same way. Certain counties on the fringe areas decided that they wanted to, and changed with the surrounding states. I dunno...
