for those that are interested in the Taurus fan just look for a mid 90s 3.8L v6 ford. it'll be a single "s" blade fan with a 3 prong plug. I have one I plan to put in mine I just haven't bought a controller I wanna test out.

I don't know what anyone else put theirs on but I figured I'd have mine come on at 180. With the controller (I already know I'll see it xmas) I plan to use should cut off when it gets lower than that and if it gets to whatever I set the second temp to it'll change to full 100% power.

The flex-a-lite fan comes with a control box with a **** to adjust it. When the temperature gauge in the instrument panel gets to the half way mark turn the **** on the controler until the fan comes on. Then whenever the temerature hits the half mark on the gauge the fan will come on.

Right the half way mark is about 200 degrees so with a 195 degree thermostat when the temp hits that mark the fan will turn on and drop the temp back to 195 or slightly below. I actually have mine set to turn on when the temp gauge is just a hair below the half way mark. You should set the fan to come on when the temp goes 5 degrees above the normal operating temp which is 195. Now if you have a 180 degree thermostat installed then your normal operating temp will be 180 so you want to set the fan to come on at 185.

Someone needs to post a "how to" on the Black Magic kit. With lots of picks.
