Mine doesn't get much better either...but I do like to hear my exhaust in high rpms....

Does this pulley go to the alternator? If it does I'd be hesitant to put a pulley on...just because I need as many amps I can get out of it. Especially, if I get an electric fan on and add some more lights...but HIDs should use less amps right? That could help balance maybe.

Well he's 4x2 so you should expect him to get better mileage than yours.

ANOTHER MILEAGE DEBATE??? SHOCKING! SHOCK-ING!

T-Bird has 4x2...could that be it? Bigger wheels actually drop highway RPM, usually good for mileage...Maybe he has cleaner air filter and better lubricants...better fuel? Different air temperature? Maybe he's charged his frame rails and tires with helium! Different trans? Different PCM habits, could be a bazillion things! You get what you get, and unless something is making a horrid noise or blowing out weird smoke, it's probably normal! Normal variation! Sometimes I get 18 on a tank, sometimes 21! Maybe it's the phase of the moon

Never has there been better proof of "Mileage May Vary!" than this forum. Either everyone is bull****ting their mileage, or the universe is still functioning properly and there is normal variation from vehicle to vehicle!

GAAAA!

OK im done.

Anyway, to get the thread back on track, a $285 underdrive pulley makes me want to buy a lathe and get into the underdrive pulley business.
