Disconnecting your battery should not have disabled you keyless remote, if I wrong, someone else
might want to chime in here I have a 2005 and the battery (CR2032) went dead in my keyless remote. you might want to check
the battery in the keyless remote....... do you have a 2nd keyless remote and does it work? I have disconnected the main
battery a number of times and never had the keyless remote not work...... had to reprogram the radio stations... LOL

why would you have to disconnect the battery for putting an Intake on? thats just stupid and has no cause...but anyway yeah check your battery in your remote...but even at that you will probably have to get it reprogrammed!!! cause the ones i have seen with dead batterys they always have to get reprogrammed.!

Maybe because that's what the manufacturers of the intake systems TELL you to do?

hmm stange i didnt disconnected my battery to install my intake... anyhow i dont think disconnecting the battery in your truck would cause your keyless not to work. i agree with everyone else your battery in your keyless is probably dead.

It's gotta be the battery in the remote or something else besides having the truck battery disconnected. I've had mine disconnected for two days before, never a problem with the remote.

but why would you have to? makes no sense...yeah maybe for the ATS (Air Temperature Sensor) but still it does not need to be disconnected for thatcause all you do is unclip it then you pull the female part out of the stock tube put it in the new one then reconnectit no problems!!!! lets keep the sarcasm to a minimum

I've always been told to disconnect the battery because it resets the PCM and re-adjusts the air flow sensor with the new intake, also the manufacture is probably just covering their *** incase something happens
