Default transfer case swap

I have a buddy who just bought a totaled 05 dak, he plans on rebuilding it butas a low rider and has no need for the transfer case. It has the full time transfer case on it andI was going to swapit out with mine. I currently have the part time transfer case and was wondering if anyone would know if I can bolt up the full time one with out having to chane anything in my front axle or drivetrain.

Not sureif you can do it.But I know from the factory you must get an Automatic (and a v8)to get the full time 4wd.

If you can do it, I might be interested in your part-time transfer case. I have an awd dakota and although I love the handling and the advantages of awd - I miss the fun of being able to play around in 2wd.

Ummm...

You still have to rotate the tires on AWD, not only that but on an AWD vehicle if one tire has to be replaced for any reason all 4 need to be replaced at the same time, they don't deal well with uneven tire wear...
