When did you all need to change your fronts? I have 25k miles on the truck now, and sometimes I feel like its starting to skate to a stop. I know the truck is pretty heavy. To lazy to pull a wheel off and check.

I must be easy on my brakes. I have almost 65k and they are still feeling pretty good. I'll probably change them this summer when I replace my tires.

I changed both my brakes and rotors at 30k due to the rotors being warped. I put on slotted and drilled rotors and they work really good.

Did you figure out your steering column?

I had plenty left on the pads but the rotors were terrible, so I just changed out both. The braking is soooo much better!!!

They must have given you the good stuff.

all modern day pads come with "squealers" a little metal prong that starts to scrape your rotors when the pad gets low. It makes a squealing noise to tell you its time to replace the pads. roll down the window, turn off the radio and take a listen next time and see if its making a noise. best way to check however is pull off a wheel and check the pads.
