That would be the way to go... get a removable tire chock, some eyebolts and you got a nice little trailer for your HD...

I think I like the trailer idea better for a Quad Cab. I can just barely load my KLR650 crosswise in my Club Cab and it's nowhere near the size of the big H-D's. My usual transport arrangement is to load my bike straight in so the tiedowns are evenly loaded, the rear tire does sit on the box floor but I can't close the tailgate. I load it with one ramp, but I park the pickup in a ditch so the ramp can be about horizontal.

yeah, Im gonna get a trailer for it. though im not a trailer queen, Id rather ride it, but I need both my bike and truck to get from NY to wisconsin, when im in Mississippi. so yeah

well if you know how to ride you could just ride it up the ramp? not that hard...when i haul my CBR around...i just ride it right up the ramp...never had any problems!

yeah, and It's in the process of getting a complete custom paint job. It wasnt going to be at first but now that it is I decided its better to be transported in a safe way.
