racinastist, sorry about that i mistaked the Q for a C and the manufacturer of the indash is phase linear/jensen/audiovox. but the face plate says phase linear. i really would not suggest gettin it if you wanna hook up and ipod to it. circuit citys website shows the ipod being displayed on the monitor but that is not true.

I like the player. I just painted my center dash cover black. It was that crappy carbon fiber look. The whole time I kept wondering if I could put one of those in there. I want to hook up GPS to it.

I like performance as much as the next guy, but I spend 30-40 hours a week in my truck for work/life... I needed a decent head unit and speakers. I honestly only have maybe a total of $500.00 into my speakers, headunit, and wiring... add in another 700 for my broke zapco amp and another 450 for the JL 4 channel...
the amps are not a necessary part of the install for most people... I am an audiophile and need clean accurate sound reproduction. I am still waiting on the zapco to get back from warranty... once thats done I will start looking at my sub situation. I already have the subs, just need an amp and time to fiberglass the box...
