Default Engine light/EGR valve problem

Ok guys n gals:

I have just over 29000 miles on my 05 CC 4WD Dakota. The engine light lit up the other day and I took the truck to the dealership. The code was for a stuck EGR valve. Of course, the required part was not in stock so I had to bring the truck back yesterday.

The dealership installed the new EGR quickly and did it under warranty.

This truck has a Magnaflow cat-back dual exhaust installed. No problem with warranty.

Now if I could just get them to put new Monroe or Bilstein shocks on under warranty, that would be way cool...... Yeah, I know, it just ain't gonna happen.

Default RE: Engine light/EGR valve problem

did your truck run any different when your check engine light came on, my elight came on about 60 miles after i put my cai on and changed my spark plugs. I am getting a new egr valve along with an egr solenoid in the morning, so i guess i will see if things run a little better.
