Default Vent Visor Question

Iam curious, if anyone knows if there is a 4 pc vent visor set that is made for an Extended Cab Dakota. All I have found are 2 pc sets. If so who makes it and where can I find it? Another question is which style do you prefer, thein channel or 3m tape. I have had the 3m on my 93' with no problems, but I am curious about opinions on the in channel style? Thanks!

Check out www.autoanything.com/deflectors/60A1230A0A0A2509264.aspx No experience with in channel type. I've read where the in channel has a tendency to rattle and/or cause problems with opening or closing windows. Wait to see what others have to say.

I prefer the in-channel myself, no rattles but the window does close and little slower near the top. Incidentally I have some tape-on ones that I removed which I'd be willing to sell for cheap, just keep in mind they don't come with the tape.

my dad had the in-channel ones on his 96 dak and they rattled like crazy whenever he had the window open, they did not let the window close all the way, and when he tried to take them off he couldnt get them off, i would just say forget about them, but then i dont like the way that they look, but if you wantt hem stick with the tape on ones they at least come off

Yeah about the stick on ones coming off.... Do not put them on if you plan on removing them a year or two down the road. Getting those things off was a royal nightmare that took the better part of 5 hours and in the end required some light wetsanding and buffing to get the paint underneath looking right.

WeatherTech® Side Window Deflectors offer you fresh air enjoyment with an original equipment look. They are crafted in Germany from the finest 3mm lightly-tinted acrylic material available. Installation is quick and easy, with no exterior tape needed. WeatherTech® Side Window Deflectors are precision-machined to perfectly fit your vehicle. These low profile window deflectors help to reduce wind noise and allow interior heat to escape. Also availabe in dark tint for most vehicles.
I've used these on several vehicles and I am very pleased with fit and finish. They just pop in the channel, no tape, and no rattles. I would only use in channel ones, as they look factory installed rather than glued on.

The only thing is that you cannot get back side windows as there is no channel to pop them ,but then if the window doesn't go down why bother?
I've had them on both my CCab's and it looks fine with just the front done.

The only ones to get are "Weather Tech" made in Germany. I've had visors on my last six vehicles, stick on and in channel. Yeah, the cheap in-channel at autozone will fall out or rattle.
WeatherTech fit tight and don't rattle, but are easily removed.
I don't know if they offer a rear set for club cabs, but wouldn't they have to be stick on? I've seen stick-ons on club cab silverados.

I have the four piece for the Extended Cab. Mine are Mopar and I got them at the dealer. They look much better than the two piece. Check out my pictures, my clicking the camera icon to the left.

i personally dont like the way that the visors(any kind) look on these trucks so i would not buy them, but on the club cab 4 piece seems pointless as the back windows dont open, and they look akward on the cc back windows imho
