anybody know the napa or stant part # for the 180 degree thermostat....



im still running a jet stage 2 chip and no t-stat

lol

get the napa 180stat 530080 all you need to do is cut the little notch in it. the jet 180 will run you about 45.00 with shipping and the napa for under 5.00

Bad stories from who? Mine's been in for 2 1/2 years and running great. Installed it same time as my Jet StageII chip as recommended. Had the chip, the 180 t'stat, K&N cai, Fastman 68.5mm TB, and Autolite 3923 plugsall that time with zero problems performance-wise except for crap bouncy front oem shocks( do you hear me, Bilstein?).

i too have had no regrets getting the 180 stat. really helps the truck out.

my buddy works at checker and found me a 160 degree t-stat.....would that be better than a 180?
