Default Paint or no paint

Ok I ordered the '08 TRX Fender Flares for my '06 Club Cab.

My plans are to have them color matched before having them installed and at the same time have the grille inserts color matched.
Please vote with your opinion.

Just want to clarify the grill, you want to paint the black inside parts but leave the outside chrome? I vote leave inside pieces black and color match flares. If you do anything to the grill paint the outside.

I'd advise you to leave the flares black. I'm the guy from the other forum that put them on my '06. The TRX flares have a rubber lip about 3/16" wide. Paint probably won't stick to the lip and it will stand out in contrast if your truck and flares are the same color (other than black, of course) I posted a close-up picture in the other thread so you can see it.

Thanks for you opinions. I posted this on three forums and the total votes from all three came out

27 for color match flares and grille
30 for color match flares leave grille black.

So beingthat close of a split I'm going with my first thoughts of color matching the flares and grille.I can always go with a billet grille if I det tired of the painted.

The truck gets dropped off Sunday nite for paint on Monday
