Default Grease It?

I havent looked closely at anything, just a fast glance,on the truck or in the tear down manual, but am I right by saying the front ends on our trucks dont require a routine greasing and that they have all sealed maintenance free bearings?

Sealed double row ball bearings. I've noticed that most cars have moved away from tapered roller bearings for the wheels so I asked a machinist friend if he knew why. He said the double-row ball bearings have a higher speed rating and lower friction.

They don't want you to grease your front steering linkage or ball joints so they fail quickly and they make money replacing them!
