mad
so i was told they made the ******* cover for the 2006 dakota R/T quadcab and now today found out they dont make it, yay, so my question to everyone is what cover would look best, and what cover would hold up the best?
I assume you mean hard cover? I have an extang RT soft cover and its awesome, low profile, snapless.... unfortunately I don't know much about the hardtops.... but why would the R/T be a different cover than a regular quad cab?
boo! crew cabs suck!!! j/k.....before i saw that post, i was gunna have u email them this pic

anyway....ah about tonneaus....i used to have a century on my ram, i loved it till i bought my leer. i LOVE my leer.....they make a few different styles as well....i have some buddies with ARE, and their nice, but the latch on theirs can be hard to turn at times, i can literally turn my latch with my thumb and a finger....also, i have slept in the back, i kept it open, but if for somereason you get locked in, there is a release latch from the inside...also, i have it wired into my door lock, so it lock and unlocks with the passenger doors aka keyless entry... and i like the styling of leer better, and i think they may be put together nicer, but ARE is high quality as well, and i may be a little biased...cant go wrong with ARE or Leer. i would recommend not goin with century though, i loved it, but ARE and Leer are much higher quality, and the fit and finish are nicer.
i would also highly recommend buying a bedrug. they are VERY durable and its quite soft. people think its carpet, but its actually a plastic figer, and the base is molded to fit our beds....all the sides and the tailgate zipper to one another, so any piece can be taken out...i also like that you cant drop anything between your tailgate and bed. i have had dead animals back there (deer, coyotes, bobcat) ect and so on, and the blood rinses right off/out with water....you cant stain it, and right when i got it, i hauled some gravel, and it didnt ruin it one bit....it looks delicate, but it is very strong, i HIGHLY recommend buying one....also, when you hose it down, it doesnt really hold water 99% of the water gets out of the bed but the rest will dry up or come out the back while driving...ill post the bedrug pic, but there are enough pics of my truck floatin around, im sure u know what my tonneau looks like

thats one of the reasons i bought a utility trailer. i did not want to bang up the sides of the truck hauling things around. you know how careless people get putting stuff in the bed scratching the outer sides of the truck, not for me
yeah well i have a spray in bedliner so i'm not worried about scratching the paint...and really i've found out having a bed cover...Does NOT help with gas mileage like everyone says it does...lol it was on mythbusters...it was BUSTED...lol
