I was questioning the MTX Thunder Box. Sorry that I did not make that clear.

Eric, you're saying the GenII Thunderform enclosure that goes under the rear seat in a QC works in our trucks?

The MTX Thunderform (witha 10" sub)for the 2nd. Gen QUAD CABS will fit in the 3rd Gen. Quad Cabs.....how do I know???

I was the first one to try it & have one!!

Yes, it's true that you can't lift/fold up the 40 part (of the 60/40) of the back seat.....but that's a good place to hide the amp. No one will see it, it won't move around, and no one can really take it either since the seat doesn't lift up to get it.

You take off the upper seat back (2 torx bolts), run the wiring for the amp, put the amp under the seat, hook up the speaker wire from the amp to the sub box, drop the box into place & then put the seat back on, & enjoy!!

Scroll down & you'll see pics of my old stereo setup:

Actually, this is the unit for the Dakota. I think the other pic I posted was of the Ram. I'd love to be able to find out if this would fit in the Gen III like it does in the II.

WTF. When I had my 04 QC I was looking into these and everything I found said they fit the QC. Now the info I'm finding says that they're for a CC, not the QC. Ugh.

Anyway, when installed, it raises the bottom of the seat at a slight angle. It may be a bit weird for anyone sitting in the back, but at least their *** would be getting some nice bump!

So you think just throwing a couple good 6 inchers in the door would get the same result as that enclosure?
