First wave of upgrades!
They do rub slightly, not too bad. I have yet to take them off road due to all the snow we have received here in CO.
I will try to get some pics here in a few I need to run to the store. Ican get some better light and angles while I am there.

I think it helped very slightly, right now it's mainly for the sound, exhaust and intake should make much more of a difference, I can't afford a k&n right now so I'm still running the restrictive factory intake. I may try making my own out of pvc for a temporary solution (I can get as much pvc as I want for free anyway so I figure might as well).
Also are you sure your remote can't vibrate? I'd read the manual, it explains how to enable that for mine in the manual but I left it off to save battery, plan on using a lot of AAA's lol.

Well, if you are going to make your own... Jump on ebay and get a Universal K&N Cone that is the same specs as the FIPK... but get one with the mounting flang in 3 inch ID.. Then go to a good exhaust shop and have them cut and bend some 3 inch O.D. aluminum pipe... It will need a 90* out of the T.B and a 90* offset about 45* down for the filter... I dont remember how long it needs to be. I couldnt get the off set Right, so we cut the 90's and stuck a chunk in teh middle for teh right length. I used silicon couplers for the cold side of turbo piping as teh means of holding it all together. (including to the T.B.)
Cost me $40 and I had mine ceramic coated with my uncles headers. the filter was found on ebay for 12 bucks!
Well like I said I get pvc piping for free and that already has insulating qualities so I'll probably try with that first, if the only bends needed are 90s and 45s it won't be a problem.
i have a K&N 63 series with flowmaster 50 series single side exit. i like it a lot. if you drive this truck a lot like me i wont go with too loud of a muffler personally. the 50 series sounds great at WOT and at idle it sounds good also. it all depends on you. i was thinking of getting those same tires, well i cant decide on all terrian or mud terrians. how loud are those tires on the highway?
Dont notice them as much on the highway, It is at 25 to 45 or so.
I love the look but they did rob me of some power. And gas mileage.
My buddy just got the hanook mud terains and they are truly loud!
Thanks for your input on the muffler, did you only replace the muffler orthe whole package?

it was a cat-back system. it was the bolt o kit but i welded my kit on. the chrome tip that flowmaster sent with it is nice. i dont think you will bedisappointted in the 50 series cat-back system. like i said before it sounds good at idle and at take off but mellows out during normal driving.
