Engine overheating problem
It was December when I bought the truck. It's been cold since I bought it. The needle on the gauge, when the truck is fully warmed up, sits just below the middle mark on the gauge. A couple of days it's gotten around 70. On those days I noticed that the needle is just above that middle mark on those days. But that's when the truck is running. I only notice the needle going about halfway between the middle mark and the hot mark after I restart it. But the engine is only off for a minute or two. Not long enough for the engine to totally cool down. Maybe it's nothing. Maybe it's normal for the truck. I haven't had it long enough to know how it runs in hot weather.
All these are good points...
I do, however, have a question...
How did you hit a cow? Is it free range, where you were at? Or, were you offroading in someones farm land... ;-)
I'm very interested in hearing this...
It still doesn't beat my friends dad, who hit a horse, though...

One of the weirdest things I've ever seen in my life...
One day I was driving to school on a rural road and came across what looked like the end of the freaking world. Cops, fire trucks, ambulances more flashing lights than a disco...the whole shabang. As luck would have it, TWO horses had gotten free and were hit by cars. They were both killed. Not before they did one HELL of a number on those cars though.
I've been in a car that hit a deer (I wasn't driving) and I can't even imagine hitting a 2000+lb animal. Sheesh!
