Hey guys, Where can I pick up the class IV receiver that mounts right to the existing bar behind the bumper? And what do they normally run?

You have a few different options for your choice of hitch. The bar that you are refferring to is the factory hitch bracing. The hitch you buy will be a reletively small unit that bolts to the existing bracing.

The factory hitch is very easy to install. You can aquire one from your local dodge dealership.

Ebay currently has a selection of hitches. However, they are not classified as a class IV, but a class III. Some of the manufacturers include Curt, U-Haul, etc. These can be typically found cheaper than the Mopar stuff, however I personally like the features of the factory hitch more than the savings in cost.

What are the differences in features? I guess I always thought a hitch was a hitch.
I need to purchase a hitch very soon. but if it is worth it to install the factory hitch I will do it.
I was tossing around the idea of having Uhaul install one.

I like the fact that the factory hitch has a mounting location for the 7-way connector. It is just a cleaner install. But that is my personal preference.
