Default upgraded struts under warranty?

I can't recall if anyone said the TRX or whatever version has a different strut but I am getting sick of bouncing down the highway, my truck bottoms out on flat ground here on our crappy highway! Bouncy bouncy bouncy...

I've been scoping some 08 TRX Daks since mine got wiped and I can tell you this. The shocks on both the front and rear are red, which is supposedly a stiffer shock than the ones on non-TRX Daks, according to the salesman anyway.

The TM kit helps a little bit, preloads the springs so they're a bit stiffer. Front suspension still sucks though.

You're not the only one looking for relief; https://dodgeforum.com/m_1169003/tm.htm

Someone will have to make a trip/call to the dealer to find out more. I checked several of theDodge dealers' online catalogsand aftermarket online suppliers that use the Trademotion database and the 2008 Dakota is not in there yet.

I have an 06 TRX w/ 14k on it and it bounces like there's no tomorrow. Even after having two blown front shocks replaced 1k ago.

so if that answers your question about TRX stiffness..

My truck bounces on the freeway so much that at night the headlight beams are all up and down and all over the road while cars around me remain steady. I am so embarrased to drive in traffic anymore! It's ridiculous!

This truck has less than 25k and I love it but this front end business is getting out of hand. [:@]

Has anyone ran the part numbers for the 08 TRX-4 front struts? I know that the rear (according to dodge.com) are stiffer.

I called the folks at mydodgeparts.com this morning and got the part numbers. He didn't have any info about whether they're stiffer or not but he could say that the part numbers are different. The rears are currently available for $70 each but the fronts are not available to the dealers yet and they don't even have a price listed yet. He did say that he had 8 standing orders for the fronts so we're not the first dog on this trail!
