Brakes
i just got all of that replaced even the brake fluid and one caliper. it was all warranty work. if not i know the dealership was going to charge me 95 an hour but the repair ticket doesnt have the part prices. they said it took them almost 8 hours to repair. what ever that seems a like long to me but it didnt cost me a thing.
Check out www.buybrakes.com I bought the 7000 Series SUV Supreme pads and the Sport rotors(drilled and slotted) for my '05 Dak. Much better than the stock junk. A bit pricey but definitely got what I paid for.
I changed my front brakes about 2 months ago, 1.) they needed it 2.) the brake dust was TERRIBLE!!! I bought EBC GREENSTUFF 7000 SERIES 4x4 SUV SUPREME BRAKE PAD SET, $92.66 for the set. I bought some new OEM rotors at AutoZone. The padsfitted perfect, they brake a lot better than my first set, and there is practically NO DUST, its great. My driver side rotor was warped so bad, that it took me over an hour getting it off. I was beating it with a sledge hammer, the passenger rotor came right off. Check out this site, free shipping.

I'm not sure what the exact reason is. I thinkif the rear brakes where adecently sizedtwo calipervented disc, that would help out the fronts a lotmore, the fronts do way to much work by themselves. Plus the OEM pads are a metalic pad. The trucks weightis farily heavy I believe (almost 4300lbs), especially if you have 4.7L, QC, 4x4, tow package, etc.
I know a brake pad upgrade for thefrontsis a must and addedupgraded rotors will even be better.
My 2 cents....
