I decided that 16K would be just fine to replace the plugs in the 3.7L. Obviously, the NGK-Rs came out just fine and I decided to check the gap to see if the varience was similar to some of the other posts I have seen in the past.
Left bank: .045, .044, .045
Right bank: .042, .043, .042
I wanted to replace them with the 3982s, but for the 3.7L they are a different number. So I think it would be safe to assume that 3982s are just for the 4.7L. I do have to say though, I can recall a post by a member that had put a set of 3982s in his 3.7. Hmm.

they're 3923's autollite you're talking about. They wont come up on the screen if you just "look them up" on a computer because they're a heat range colder than stock. NGK's are good plugs though, I run them on my 01. I usually change my plugs every year though so i'm thinking about going back to the 3923's because i'm convinced they make my truck idle better.
