Default Rear ends

okay so i'm pretty new to both the worlds of forums and a dakota i recently purchased an 05 4.7l cc dak and am absolutely in love with it. the only problem i have is this for a 4.7 why is it that i've seen pictures from the moderators of 2 wheel marks when my truck only does a one wheel peel. My understanding of any diamlyer/chryslar vehichle* which isn't much im a converted import kid who got tired of the bs w/ imports.* is that they have posi rear ends does my model simple not have that i haven't torn apart the rear end yet thats when i'm not working any ot on the weekends. i was just curious as to everyone's input because as i've said i am new to the dodge dak family.

open up the glove box and look at the back. there shuld be a sticker that says wether it is a corporate rear or not. most likely if it spins one tire its not but if it leaves strips like mine does then it is the corporate

One wheel peel means you don't have the lsd.

I believe all the trucks with the lsd have the corporate rear but not all corporate rears have the lsd. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

corporate rear means posi. if only one spins then it is broke and some spider gears are totally gone. you need to get it serviced before the left over metal chews up the rest

LD = Limited Differential????? I Think, but not sure. Okay, in fact, I don't even know. I am just taking an educated guess. Now to see if I am right.

well im curious to, mine sticker says it has a Lock-Up Torque Converter with 3.55 axle ratio with a corporate 9.25 LD rear axle. What the heck is the LD? and what exactly is a lock-up torque converter?
