since the truck is new and still stock, find a dyno and do a few pulls. i wanna see how close both our trucks are mine being moded and yours being stock

Hey wasup nice looking truck, yes that front is way different, you have too look at it a while too like it, welli like the new front end, have you looked to see if you can pull your head light bulbs or do you gotta pull the whole head light housing out to change bulbs and you have the 4.7 V8 right, i thought they were having troubles with something internally at the factorys with the 4.7, that was something i read on here.you should take some pictures with the ligts on, what do the head lights look like and where the heck are the running lights lol.

 

i guess dakotas are just ugly. I love my truck, and i think that the new ones are better lookingby a very slight margin. When i got my 06 i liked the gen 2 body style better, butnow i don't. i think there all loud and over-styled. the best one can do is tonedown the looks, and make them so mechanically bad **** that no one notices the ugly. Flat black rattle can does miracles. I know lift and tires helps alot too.

 

Thanks guys. That's basically what sold me on the TRX, the way the front end looks. I was originally looking at the Sport model, but I loathe chrome and couldn't get past the way the headlights looked with all that bling. And they're too big for the front end, proportionally. They look all bugged out and stuff. That and the freakin' vinyl seats. Yes, I said VINYL! Who the hell puts vinyl seats in anything anymore? They looked cool with the red inserts, but no way in hell am I sitting on vinyl seats.

Anyway, the the looks of the new TRX is what did it for me. At first I wasn't crazy about the silver grille and headlight trim, but the more I looked at it the more I like it. And it looks a hell of a lot better than the chrome crap on the Sport and SLT. That, and my headlights have black bezels. The only chrome on them is what's inside as reflector material for the lights. I have noticed though now that I've driven it a few times at night that the headlights don't seem as bright as what my 05 was. Weird, but maybe it's just me.

Hell dude, pull my bulbs or headlights? No way man, I've only had the truck like 4 days. I haven't even THOUGHT of taking stuff apart yet. Haha
