I check out BBC's Top Gear as much as I can. Those 3 are like the 3 stooges or something, it's great. But I love when Clarkson test drove the CCX a year or so ago and talked about how the twin SC-ed 4.7 makes 800+HP. But if you run it on the "jungle juice" we have here in Europe and not that "limped-wristed fairy stuff the Americans call petrol" you'll be making over 1000 brake HP! Haha.

I'm thinking with it juiced up to 1000HP that thing just may give the Veyron a headache as far as the world's fastest production car.

 

I'm pretty sure the CCX just recently beat the Veyron's record speed as the fast road car and reclaimed its title as the world's faster street car.

I dunno dude. I try to keep tabs on this stuff and I haven't heard anything like that. If you have substanciation I'd LOVE to see it, but as far as I know the Veyron still holds it at like 254MPH.
