The tow/haul button is found on all the Daks w/auto trans. It changes the shift points to keep rpms up so the trans and/or motor won't overheatdue tolugging it in too high of a gear. It is also better to use around town to avoid the unnessecary wear and tear of the trans constantly shifting in and out of overdrive.
P.S. Don't you think it would have been nice if someone had really answered your question first, thengone off on their private banter?

First off I'll second that in respect of the Bullchit!!WTF if you no know the answer or want to help just stay out of it.......

Most of the daks that have Auto & come with the tow pkg. come with one extra leaf spring.

My 06 quad has the tow package. If you engage the tow/haul button, the shift points on the automatic transmixer are different. I like it when I tow my boat.
