hummm seams I read this not too long ago
but after reading this thread, and looking at the dates posted, seams like the ones off arn't the newb's. no wonder posts (and the dak 3rd gen section) has gone downhill.

funny thing is, this thread is from march. the section was going down hill right around a year ago imo. the early days were the good ones imo. youve been here just as long as i and have roughly 1/8th of the post count as i do. shoot, ive posted less than 20 posts in the last 6 months too. maybe you just werent around enough to develop the friendship the "old crew" had.

yea it has gone downhill a bit, but its partly bc the old crew that used to populate the whole place left, including you 
and since then it hasnt been the same and then there have been some other issues too which did not help, we had site problems which were solved by the software upgrade(this was in july or so) and it just never came back but i hope that people do come back it would make the site so much better

yea, you have more posts, I really haven't started activly posting till lately (had nothing to say till recently). I belong to other forums also and post there. But IMO in seeing how new members are treated, and their valid questions are being ridiculed by the old crowd, I don't see this as getting back as shrp is hoping.

paul, by treating members poorly, do you mean telling them they should start a new thread instead of hijack a thread (much as we are doing right now) because their topic would probably yield more results if done so? because that has already been beaten to death, and i just decided to leave that thread and not look back or get back into that discussion.
and shrp, i remember the software problems, i was on this site along with a sister-site that also had the same problem. people come and go, people gain interest and lose it, shoot maybe someone died. we would never know. id love to see this site hoppin like it used to.
