Default magnaflow duals

i have decided on the magnaflows(stainless and i get alot of salt even though very little snow).

i have been pouring over past threads and have a few questions/concerns:

1. does everyone with the magnaflows have the resonance in 1800-2200 rpm range?
If so did you remove the resonators?
2. i have read the magnaflows are quieter at idle, can you tell them from the stock?

thanks

Yea it resonates in the cab between those rpm's and you have to remove the resonator if you get the cat back kit, if you just get a muffler and have it welded in then that'd probably not resonate as bad.

And its alot louder then stock at idle, Every person that has asked me if I have exhaust done has asked me while at idle.

hope this helps

Magnaflow cat-back is installed on my '05 CC SLT. I like the sound from this system. Drone is not a big problem.

Will probably install Magnaflow on my Charger SRT8, as well!

I have just installed the Magnaflow cat-back duals on to my truck this last friday. So far I am extremely happy with the sound and the looks of a dual system on my truck

duals are pretty pointless on a v6 as you can get a big enough single pipe that will work

Not entirely true...

You could get like a 2.5" inlet, and dual 2" outlets... and that'd be fine for a 6cyl...

Not too sure what you mean there, shrpshtr...
