Default Complete clusterf**k

Attempted to switch out my TB this morning with my new Fastman TB, also planned on doing front brakes...
First off, after removing my original TB from the motor and installing the sensors off of the old one, I realized that one of the sensors is much, much bigger that the hole it's supposed to go into on the TB. They are two different throttle bodies. I left vmails for Dan as well as emailed him, I suppose I won't hear back until Monday...

Next problem - front brakes. After taking off the wheel, I attempted to loosen the bolts to get to the pads - it looks like the entire bolt spins within the caliper and never actually loosens... obviously I'm doing something wrong, so if anyone has any pointers, please let me know...

i can hear the crickets chirping in the background over here....

Nobody has changed their front brake pads and run into this problem?
I think I'll just have the local shop do it for me, let them worry about it!

maybe that was the issue. It didn't seem like loosening it was doing anything as the the bolt just kept spinning and not coming out at all....
and i didn't check the manual, cant seem to get into it

I just did the front pads & rotors last year on my '05 QC SLT, so you would think I should remember better. But, I think that the caliper bolts, once all the threads are free, just spin inside the little rubber boot. Then, you have to pull them out of the boot with your fingers or a pair of pliers. I may have tis confused with other vehicles I've worked on recently, so take this with a grain of salt.

Regarding the Fastman, I'm starting to get pissed over here. Since Saturday I've left voicemails for both his cell and office #'s, and also sent numerous emails - I have YET to hear back from him regarding the wrong throttle body he sent me.
I will be leaving yest another vmail on each phone numebr today as well as a final email, and should I not hear back, I will be disputing the charge on my credit card, and sending a little note to the BBB...
