Hey Guys!!
just peel them right off. then take some w-d 40 on a rag and wipe the excess glue from the side of the truck. i had the 4 x4 stickers and got rid of them. got intouch with klings design and he fabbed up some bed and tonneau stripes for my truck.
welcome to the Forum! They should come off fairly easy with some Goo-Gone. I am not sure if there is a technical way of taking them off or not. They should just peel off, but slow removal would be preferred not to damage the paint.
The easiest way to remove vinyl decals is to heat them up with a hair dryer or heat gun as you're peeling them off. It makes removal easier, and it will also leave less adhesive residue to clean off afterward. That stuff is a sticky freaking mess. But, like others have said, use some WD-40 or Goo Gone or whatever to remove any leftover adhesive once the vinyl is all removed.
Welcome, and congrats' on your new truck. I followed the advice on the forum on taking the 4x4 decals off my SLT. Slick as could be but take your time. Decals came right off with little residue, what was left was minor and did indeed clean up with wd-40. Windexed the area after and a little wax to protect and its like they were never there. Do check out Kling's Designs for very cool graphics.
Since your a girl, just a word of advice.
