OK .. Guys and Girls;

After fighting with a vibration problem in my 05 Dakota for a while, I finally gave up!!!![:@]
I got an 08 Dakota "Big Horn" a special edition of the SXT
V6..... I Know.....LOL but it has most of the goodies I need...
4spd Auto... P. Windows ..P. Locks.... P. mirrors...Spd Control... am/fm/cd... tinted glass...keyless entry..
18 x 8.0 Alum wheels....3.92 axle...fog lamps...body color fascia and rear bumper.... Black headlamps.... Full floor console...
I have posted pictures of the 08Black "Big Horn" in my photo gallery along with the old 05 Black SLT....now with my discount and rebate of 2500.00 it was 18500 plus taxes........Sticker was 22860..

While I was at the dealership I also purchased a 2008 Dodge Caliber R/T for the wife. pictures also shown in the photo gallery.
could not go wrong forjust under 17000 plus taxes.......Sticker was 20730
and better gas mileage than the Jeep Liberty we traded in.

I'm on a mission tokeep Chrysleralive....

 

Man Christmas came early for you! V6 with 3.92's will get around, nice truck. 2WD or 4WD?

It is just a 2 wheel drive, the 05 Dakota was also a 2 wheel drive and the Liberty, we traded in for
the 08 Caliber, was a 4x4 and in the 2 1/2 years we owned it it was never put into 4 wheel drive.....[8D]
Really didn't see the need for a 4x4 down here in the South....

 

Same here. I bought my Dak 2 weeks before I moved to SC to take a new job, and I have yet to be in a situation where I wished I had 4WD. I even took it back up to NY in the middle of winter, and 400LBS of sand in the bed kept me between the ditches.

 

Nice even if it is a third gen.

 

Congrats on the new truck. It looks good. I saw an 08 today up close. The guy was already doing his mods on it.

Nice I like the black. I have been putting some thought into waiting a while and trying to trade up into an 08 myself. Let us know how she treats ya.

 

Very nice, I had never herd of that pkg till this post, it looks like a heck of good buy, lots of goodies for the money. I spent about 4 hours in my new 08 dakota today, and I have to say I love the 08 DAks, I traded an identical 08 Ram for it last week, I really like the DAk a whole lot better. I havehad way more complements from friends and strangers on the 08 Dak, than I ever did with the 08 Ram. Congrats and good luck with both the new Rides.
