Hey guys,

I've got a tailgate protector from Mopar on my tailgate. I bought a Pop N Lock tailgate lock the other day....and I went to put it on, and I can't get the tailgate protector off the truck.

It is placed on with screws and a small rivot. I tried prying it off, and broke a rivot. I've tried a drill and a screwdriver both...and can't get the screws off.

Anyone ever taken one of these things off? If so....can someone tell me how the hell to get if taken of the tailgate?!!!

the best answer i can give u is, they will come out, but they will no go in bc they just break, better off just buying some new rivots or use some 3M tape to put it back on

 

I was able to put one on my Raider. It is a pain in the @$$ but can be put on without breaking anything.
