What exactly were the designers of the Gen III Dakota thinking when they designed the club cab back seats. I have never seen something so utterly useless. The only thing those seats are good for are small car seats for kids, and I don't have kids. There's also no storage in the back either. I know on my 95 Dakota Ext. Cab the seats folded down into a full bench seat and that there were compartments underneath that one could use for storage. My Gen III however has a slot on the passenger side of the truck where the jack and tire iron tools are stored and thats about it. Really lame if you ask me, and usually Dodge is pretty good at coming up with innovative storage areas on their pickups. I guess they decided to make up for it in the 08's as they look to have more interior storage spaces but I see they still have the same really stupid looking fold down cushions that leave a nice big empty space in the middle. Sure I could put something in that space to fill it in, but why didn't they just make one cushion big enough in the first place to cover that empty space. [sm=rant.gif]

The engineers were really high that day, must have been the same day they designed the front suspension...

Yeah I am guessing so. They should quit using peyote to dream up their ideas.
