Think Im going to give in....
And just go for the Body Lift. I cant wait for a suspension lift kit anymore. It's probablly never going to happen.
If you do it right, a body lift kit can turn out really nice.
Look at this guys:

He hid the frame well, right size tires, it looks sick. He doesnt have to worry about shocks, and cv angles, it can all stay stock, cause its a body lift. Starting to appeal to me.
Should I do it? I already have the TM kit and blocks. With the body lift, I'll be virtually 5".

thats how i'm starting to feel about the suspension lifts. are you planning on putting the body lift on yourself? if not let me know what the shops are quoting you. just wondering if my local shops are raping me.
When I saw the title of this I thought it was going to be another thread about getting rid of your Dak and getting a small car for gas milage. I was glad when I saw otherwise, I say go for the lift
does any body know if that black dakota from the cardomain thread have a leveling kit and rear block also?

I am pretty positive it used to mention a Truxx leveling kit. Or TM leveling kit. So I am sure it does.
I will probablly have the kit installed. Havnt found the shop to do it yet...
I may have to wait a tiny bit, i still seem to be having a problem with my steering, I think its the rack.
Doing some research it seems alot of ppl have a never ending battle with dodge, as they have the most unreliable rack and pinion steering ever reported. The 05 dakota is actually under investigation with many other vehicles due to steering failures.

Did a 3" body lift on my truck last year. It has helped when I'm off-roading. Really should have more lift, i.e. suspension lift, but you know where that goes!
