Default Headlight Lens Restorer

Can anyone recommend a good headlight lens restorer? I've got headlights that I'm looking to remove some oxidation from. I think someone on here has mentioned some stuff from Meguiers called PlastX...or something like that. Does that work for headlights? Nightrunner I'll bet you can suggest something...with your strong knowledge of detailing.

X2 for plastX. be generous with amount used and really scrub it, dont apply it and wipe off, scrub and work the stuff. should work great! ive used it before. like i said, dont be afraid to use a bit of this stuff and put some elbow greese into it!

I'm not sure how bad off the lenses are that you are trying to clean, but I used a kit called, Micro Mesh Headlight Repair on my Passat and it worked amazingly. They were pretty oxidized, so it took patience and elbow grease, but the kit was very straightforward and simplified the process.
Here is the link the to thread on Passat World. There may be some kits left. The kit comes with several different grits of sandpaper and you start course and end up fine. It really does work for funky headlights.

honestly, you dont need one of those kits. plastX works wonders. the ex's v-dub's lights were pure yellow. so much so that the headlights didnt go out more than 15-20 feet at night and i got them looking like new.

Meguiars PlastX it is. I'll pick some up in the next day or two and post the results.
