3.7L Towing Capacity Under rated
I always get the same crap when I rent that U-Haul 6x12:
"V6 or V8?"
"V6."
"Oh. That trailer might be a little heavy for your truck..."
"No, it's not."
"But it's 2,000 pounds empty!"
"Thanks. That gives me 2,500 pounds to work with."
Pulls it fine, stops and handles even better...which is what matters. In reality, it's a 7,150-pound GTW truck de-rated to 4,550 pounds for powertrain.

Ive only be doubted towing once, simple because of my buddies drive-way, he didnt think my truck would be able to back his 21" Cabin Cruiser up the driveway, But only because it was 2wd and not 4x4. Not because it was a V6. So he got is step-father to do it with his F150 V8, 4x4.
