Remove Chrome Clad From Wheels?
They look good...sort of, but they are still a hubcap to me. In addition, the cover and the adhesive used to mount it must add significant weight to an already heavy wheel. Seriously, they weigha ton and can't help the shidy, bouncy ride.
Has anyone removed them to see what is below? Is it a nice blank canvas to either polish, paintor powder coat? How difficult to remove adhesive? New wheels and tires are currently out of the question.
Also, My truck is black...I wonder how they would look with a thin coating of Line-X, the spray in bed-liner stuff? It is shiny, with a sand-paper texture, and nearly indestructable. I've had many products spayed with it, and it looks nice. Many bedliners look like tar, not this stuff. I hope I didn't offend any bedliner dealers.

Don't forget the cheesy night runner logos for the headrests!
Those would look good.
Then you can paint the truck black, put night runner decals on and show it to Drew
