iput the upper ball joint back together after installing the spacer and found that after i tightenend the nut there is still space between the knuckle and the flange on the ball joint. i know that the ball joint is tapered but should the flange be against the knuckle? the flange is more noticable because i tore the dust boot to pieces with a pickle fork.

 

Is this a question. Because I'm confused? My ***** don't have joints...

 

I would hope they would have some movement or joint action or when your gf kicks you square in the ***** they'll be shattered....[sm=scared09.gif]

 

i think you mean bf, but yes they should move on the origional question im not sure mine still has the rubber boot(and i think its different anyway)

could someone count the number of threads showing under the upper ball joint nut or measure the length of the stud protruding?
