not our truck but similar. to get off the old clutch fan you will need to grab it with some vise grips and allow the vise grips to rest on the stud stick up above the fan. (you'll see what i mean). Then use the right size wrench and take it off. I hooked mine up to one of the wires leading to the ac compressor. just see which one is the acc on and that shouuld be good. good luck

The E-Fan guide was moved to the DIY section, if you click the sticky at the top you can view all 3rd gen Dakota DIY's or you can scroll down on the main page and view all the DIY's in there. Keeping them all in one section will let us organize them better plus if every DIY were at the top you'd have to scroll through 2 pages of sticky's to get to the posts

Well then 94rt10ohio messed it up. Because I had already checked that for the E-Fan writeup, it's not there.

I apologize for that, I forgot to tag it as 3rd gen Dakota when I moved it to DIY, it's been fixed now

Has anyone actually ordered a fan from SPAL and used that? I was just curious as to whether or not 1200 cfm will be enough for the 100 degree in the shade florida days. Watcha guys think?
