How Much Is It Worth
All I just read was blah blah blaaaah!
Infernoogay red is....blah blah!
I would sell it out right if you wanna make some of your money back, the dealerships gonna rape ya. 20k is not a bad price for the private market, and I would say 15k from the dealership.

Mods won't help resale value...and right now dealerships can't give away new trucks. I heard a story recently of a friend of a friend who won big money at the casino. He walked into a chevy dealership with $18000 in cash and walked out with a $33000 Silverado. My guess is you're looking at an average auction value for trade-in, about $12000. Private seller might get $17500. I would not hold my breath for any more.

Keep in mind--medium sized dealership in Lebanon, PA (smaller city)...
68 trucks sitting around...and that number's gone up in the last three weeks. Unbelievable to me. These trucks are going to be sitting around forever and the majority of their inventory was trucks.
If I remember correctly you are in Oklahoma right?? I think it would sell better than you think, privately. Find some senior that will be graduating in the Fall that has no debt and wants a killer truck to take to their new job. His/her Mom and Dad will probably help him get the loan for it. Two things are happening here in S.A., either people are flogging off their full size trucks but still have to have a truck and are buying the medium size trucks like ours big time. Or if you do decide to trade it in and can handle a full size Ford/Chevy/Dodge, now is the time to trade in. Here, they will just about pay off any remaining loan debt (within reason) if you willing to take a new full size off their lot.
