Tapped mine off of the cig lighter... Was scratching my head as well when i had no power. Did a search and found out theres no factory acc wire

 

i dont know if this helps but when i put my new headunit we had to buy a seperate harness of wires (i guess thats what i would call it, dont know the name but i can check when im home) that we had to wire to the headunit then the truck, but we had to put the yellow wire and red wire to fuses in the fuse box...still wasnt shutting off will the truck then the harness came with a blue wire that we had to hook up to the headunit to shut off when the truck shuts off....made the mistake and didnt do that at first...truck died a week later...again i dont know if this helps at all but thats just what we had to do with my truck

 

sorry for the laste reply but i got it installed,i tapped into the cig or 12volt output whichever u wanna call it,an it works fine,other than the factory speaker sucks,but now im goin to get some new speakers,maybe kickers i guess

 

If and when I upgrade its gonna be kickers had them in the old truck and the phuckus, they are badass

 

get rid of the phuckus please so that we can stop ripping on u for it
